The Silk Road has always lured traders, adventurers, writers and travelers. For centuries, caravans filled with spices, silk, porcelain and connect China to the Mediterranean. The beauty of its landscape has been preserved thanks to its difficult access and the little we have evolved in the infrastructure. Our paper focuses on eastern stages of this route, in Uzbekistan and China.
When to Go
The best time to travel the Silk Road is in spring and early fall, winter, although short, is very rigid and extremely hot summer and in the case of China, also very wet. En route to be taken into account the large fluctuations that may have the temperature overnight.
